In the summer, I was attacked by a donkey in Sicily. I have been thinking a lot about this unexpected event ever since. My Bachelor's project is the result of this reflection: I am exploring the possibilities of autobiographical storytelling in an experimental way. What stories are contained in my own experiences? What does the experience stand for and what can readers draw from it? In this way, I combine the methods I learned during my studies with a pinch of intuition and a focused look inwards. You can find out what the donkey has to do with letting go in my comic.
La Guerra (2023)
During my stay at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, I made a comic about a futuristic cathedral. My grandpa and I walk through the city where there is war. How would my grandfather react if he were to walk through a hypothetical cathedral at war?
